The Glassworks condos are all about, you guessed it: glass. The two-level, loft-style homes at the Glassworks condos have floor-to-ceiling windows, some with views of McCovey Cove, the San Francisco Bay, AT&T Park and the vibrant South Beach neighborhood.

With 39 loft-style condominiums on seven floors, the project was completed in 2003. Standard finishes at the time of construction include bamboo or Brazilian cherrywood floors in the living area, dining area and kitchen, in-unit laundry, central air-conditioning and heat, marble counters, Studio Becker kitchen cabinets and Bosch and Sub Zero stainless steel kitchen appliances. At street level, the building contains 7,500 square feet of commercial space.

A portion of HOA dues goes to the Mission Bay Community Facilities District, which develops and maintains infrastructure (streets, traffic lights, street lights, and sewer and water systems) and open space in the neighborhood. The 41 acres of open space in Mission Bay include playing fields, sport courts, a children’s park, a waterfront promenade and several other areas under development.

Residents at the Glassworks enjoy easy access to MUNI, Caltrain, 280 and the Bay Bridge, making it an ideal home base for commuters. AT&T Park is directly across the street (Giants season ticket holders, take note!), and the Mission Creek Park is a couple of blocks away. The developing UCSF campus is a few blocks south, across Mission Creek.
